How to create new Clients in PTP Accounts Production

 

Introduction

This topic explains how to create clients within IRIS Accounts Production.

 

  1. From the menu bar select Client | New

The following screen displays.

  1. Select the Create a new client to be added to the IRIS database option and click Next.

The following screen displays.

  1. Complete the relevant fields and click Next.

The following screen displays.

  1. Click Next.

  1. Review the data entered on the above screen.

  2. Click Finish to proceed or click Back to amend the details.

The following screen displays.

  1. Enter a Client identifier reference for the client (maximum of 10 characters) and click OK.

The following dialog displays.

  1. Click Yes to log the company formation to history, or No if a log is not required and continue to follow from step 16.

  1. Manually enter the date of formation in the On field or click the magnifying glass.

  2. From the Application delivered by field select the relevant option and click OK.

  1. From the Client Involvements screen, select the relevant tab, for example, Director, Secretary or Employs.

  2. Click New to add an involvement or click Close.

The following screen displays.

  1. Click Shareholdings to enter the relevant details or Close if no Shareholding information is required.

The following screen displays.

  1.  Review the details, click Save and then Close.
