Fees Posting Documents

The Fees Posting Documents screen can be used produce a document for a selected posting. For example, it is possible to view an invoice posting and then print the invoice.

 

To access the Fees Posting Documents screen:

  1. Log into the Fees Ledger.

  2. Click Enquiries.

  3. Select Account Details from the sub-menu.

  4. Type in a client identifier.

  5. Highlight a posting and click View.

  6. Click Document.

The Fees Document options screen can be displayed for the following postings:

Invoice

 For practices that post normal invoices both invoice and payment reminder documents can be produced.

 

Practices that are cash accounting and low turnover firms can also produced a VAT receipt, once the receipt has been matched against the invoice.

 

 

Proforma Invoice

 Cash accounting practices that post proforma invoices can produce documents for both proformas and payment reminders. Once a receipt has been matched against the proforma a VAT receipt can be produced.

 

 

Receipt

 Documents cannot be produced for practices that post normal invoices.

 

Practices that are cash accounting can produce VAT receipts, once the VAT has been accounted for. This can be achieved by either matching the receipt to the invoice (or proforma invoice), or by posting the receipt with VAT accounted for.

 

 

Credit note

 A credit note document can be produce for both normal credit notes and proforma credit notes.

 

 

 

To produce the document, highlight the posting and click Print. To exit click Close.
