Time Ledger Budgets

Introduction

A Time Ledger budget is a tool to allow the monitoring of a client WIP charges, costs and time.

As you click on Budgets from the menu you will be presented with budgets options. Before using budgets it is recommended that the budget options are set. These will determine as to whether a budget is set for costs and time, as well as by WIP charge.

Once you have set the budget options you will then need to set up a budget for the Time & Fees Clients. A Budgets can be set on previous years figures, where a budget is set on the previous years actual or Budgeted figures. Alternatively, a budget can be created with more control by using the clients budget option.

Once a budget has been created it can be reported on within the Time reports. This includes the WIP movements, the practice summary and the print budgets section. Click here for further details.

For the purposes of Time Ledger housekeeping, a delete budgetsfacility has been included. This allows you to remove budgets that are no longer required.
