The remote timesheet import screen is used by remote timesheet entry users to import postings from the remote site to the main site.
To access the Timesheet Import screen:
Enter the Time Ledger.
Click on Post WIP.
Click on Import Timesheets.
The Timesheet Import: Current Import Files screen will be displayed. The following are displayed:
Within the show files section there are various methods of filtering the import files displayed.
These are displayed below:
Already imported |
Place a tick in the box provided to display all import files available. Leave the box empty to only display files that have not been imported. |
From site |
Files received from the remote site can be given an identifier. This can be used to differentiate the import files. |
Created between |
Enter a from and to date to display files created between those dates. |
Displayed in the window are files received from the remote site. These can be filtered using options within the 'show files' section (see above).
The following details are available for each file:
File | Displayed is the file name. For example, ERP0001.TF1. |
Created | Displayed is the date the file was created at the remote site. |
Source |
Displayed is the source name. For example RP-0001. The RP refers to the database identifier. Click here for the help topic for setting the database identifiers at the remote site. The 0001 refers to the number of the import file. |
Status |
The status column shows whether a file has been imported to the main system. A file can have a status of 'Not yet imported' where all of the files have not yet been imported to the main system, or a status of imported once all files have been imported. |

Displays the date a file has been imported. |
To import all files displayed within the main window click Import all.
To import a single file, highlight the import file and click Import.
To view the staff postings within an import file click View. Using this option incorrect postings can be deleted. Click here for the help topic for viewing postings.
To delete an import file, highlight the file to be deleted and click Delete. This will remove the file and all its postings from the main site.
Click Close to exit.
