Practice Management and Time Ledger setup

Introduction

The Time Ledger options refer to those options that will only affect the Time Ledger. These options set the parameters for how the Time Ledger will work. This varies from how often you post your timesheets, the length of your timesheet, whether you use cost rates, and much more. How these options are set will determine how effective your use of Time and Fees will be.

The Practice Management options sets the parameters for how both Practice management and Time & Fees operate. With regards to the Time Ledger, this affects whether you use job types and work types, client categories used, and where to add your agent name.

The Practice Management system setup is prompted on initial installation of Time & Fees and provides the opportunity to set your options immediately. However, these options can be changed while time and fees is up and running.
