Windows 10 users getting licences on this system have failed validation checks  

After upgrading to Windows 10, it has been identified that some users are encounter the following error when trying to open IRIS:

 

This problem usually arises when the IRIS Co-ordination Service is stopped.

 

To resolve this, you'll need to start the IRIS Co-ordination Service:

  1. Open the Run dialog, (Windows + R keys).

  2. Type services.msc and press Enter.

  1. Locate IRIS Co-ordination Service and select Start. Retry IRIS.

  1. In persistent cases, right-click on the IRIS Co-ordination Service and select Properties. Change Startup type to Automatic (Delayed Start).

  1. Click the Recovery tab.

  2. Change all failures to Restart the Service and click Apply.
