New Bank Account

This screen allows you to set up or change the bank details for a client.

Within AutoMail and System Maintenance you are able to change the Client identifier to set up the account details for different clients.

Within Business Tax and Accounts Production you are not able to change the identifier as you should already be using the correct client.

Bank / Building Society

Click on the magnifying glass next to the Bank/Building Society field to display a list of banks currently on the database.

If the bank is on the list select it to use the same name, address and sort code for your client.

If the bank is not on the list select New and set up the details then select the bank from the list.

 

Account number / description

Enter the account number and description in the fields provided.

 

Date opened / closed

If you know the date on which the account was opened/closed enter them here if you do not then leave the fields blank. These fields are mainly intended for use in the Personal Tax package when that package is integrated with the banks database.

 

Account pays gross interest

This field will be used when the banks database is integrated into the Personal Tax package.

 

Sort Code

The sort code will be completed automatically when you select a Building Society. It may be amended if required.

 

Reference / Roll number

Enter the reference / roll number for the client.
