Post Task Tutorial

For further information please see the Post Task Quick Guide or Post Task Help screen.

A new task can be posted through several screens and the below will cover some examples.

 

Task Browser or Staff Control Panel (Tasks) or Client Tasks Tab

  1. Click Post Task.

  2. Enter who the task will be assigned to. It is possible to enter multiple staff members.

  3. Enter details of Status, Due Date, Client, Client Job, Client Job Stage (if applicable).

  4. Enter a subject and main notes (if applicable).

  5. Click OK.

Job Stages or Staff Control Panel (Job Stages) or Job Stage Fast Entry

  1. Highlight the appropriate Job Stage and click Post.

  2. Change the staff member assigned to if needed.

  3. Details regarding the client, client job and client job stage are filled automatically. This can be changed if needed.

  4. Click OK.

  5. If you need to change any details you can View the task and amend accordingly.

Creating a Draft Invoice through on-screen billing (*)

  1. View the client and go to the WIP tab.

  2. Click on Billing.

  3. Enter the details of the Invoice and click Send To.

  4. Enter the details of the staff id you wish the task to be sent to.

  5. Click OK.
