To access this screen, go to Launch | Tasks in the Staff Control Panel. Then click on the Post button or the View button.
The Task Posting screen allows a task to be posted to different Staff Members or yourself as a reminder. A subject and main details to the task can be entered and it is possible to link the client I.D. in question as a reminder. To post a Task the relevant privileges need to be selected on the Staff member Allowed tab.
The Task will then go to the selected staff members for review and eventual completion.
If a task has been created via the on-screen billing Draft facility you will see an Attachment option at the top-right of the Task. For more information please click here.
The View Task screen is identical to that of the Post Task screen. If you own, have been assigned or have privileges to edit tasks you can change all the details of the task. If a Task is marked as Private and you are not the assignee nor the owner then you will not be able to see any details or change any.
