To access this screen, go to Launch | System Maintenance in the Staff Control Panel. Then select Practice | Report Logging. Select a particular report type and click on Edit.
This displays options for the selected report. The name of the report selected is displayed as well as a number of user editable options.
With this option selected, it will record the date and time the report was produced within Communication tracking.
This prompts the user each time a report is generated as to whether it should be logged or not.
This logs the entire report against the client within Communication Tracking. It stores reports as pdf’s for access at a later stage either through the Communication Tracking tab for a client off the client maintenance screen, or the general search mechanism.

If the same report is generated within a certain time frame, every copy of it may not need to be stored. If this is the case, this option allows to specify when the report will be overwritten.
This option ensures the user is prompted if a report is going to be overwritten allowing for the user to decide if this should happen or not.
This option can be used to amend what format the corporation tax computation is saved as. By default, this is set as iXBRL but the option can be changed to PDF or iXBRL and PDF which will log both reports in the Communications Tracking tab.
