Logging into Practice Management will place the Pm icon in the Sys Tray on the Task bar (which is next to the clock at the bottom right hand corner of the screen). This confirms that Practice Management has been logged into.
After the icon is placed there it will open up the Staff Control Panel by default. For further information please see the Staff Control Panel help screen.
The main features for PM include Jobs, Services, Attributes, Workflow reporting, Tasks, Task reporting and Data Mining.
Also with PM when viewing clients will display extra tabs. These are Jobs, Attributes, Tasks, Notes and Services. For more information please see the extra client tabs help screen.

With then Pm icon access to all parts of the product is by right clicking on the icon. This will display a pop-up menu from which the relevant aspect can be selected and these are:
Management Reports
Workflow Report and Task Report
Memorised Reports
System Maintenance
Close (logs out and removes the Pm icon - see below)
Click on the link to go through to the relevant help screen.
When the Pm icon is closed (that is, right-clicked and click Close) and other Practice Management functions are open, for example the Staff Control Panel, a prompt will display:
"This action will close all Pm windows? Are you Sure?".
Please save all information before proceeding with this prompt.
In order to log out of IRISPTP completely the Pm icon must not be present in the System Tray and to do this right-click on the icon and then choose Close. For Windows XP users the Show Hidden Icons may be needed to identify the Pm icon.
It is recommended that Practice Management and the Pm icon is always closed down before shutting down or rebooting your computer.
