For further information please see the Task Report Tutorial or Task Report Help screens.
This report allows a look at all tasks posted on the system. Search for tasks assigned to the current login only or use this as an overview for other staff members’ tasks. The report can be refined from the details below.
Searches can be performed for any combination of:
Tasks Assigned To - the current assignee of the task
Tasks Assigned By - the last person who assigned the task
Tasks Owned By - the initial creator of the task
Under the 2nd column searches can be based on:
All Staff - all staff members
Staff Member - the staff member entered in the box to the right
Staff Reporting to Manager - all staff assigned under a manager
Staff Reporting to Partner -all Staff assigned under a partner
Tasks overdue for X days or more If the task has a Due Date assigned then limits can be placed to look at task overdue for more than 10 days, say.
Tasks outstanding for X days or more Once the task is created it is outstanding for 0 days. When the next day occurs the task is now outstanding for 1 day and so on. Limiting the report for all tasks that have been outstanding for 14 days or more can also be done.
Tasks due within X Days/Weeks/Months. Again if the due date has been set tasks that are about to become due can be seen. This cannot be used in conjunction with Tasks overdue for X days or more as this will conflict the report.
This allows a limit on which tasks are being looked at. For example tasks that have been rejected can be reported on to see why that is so.
Against each task a priority may have been assigned. This allows a search on specific priorities or higher.
This tabs defines in which order does the information come out on the report. If ordered by Client Identifier say then it will sort as per your basic Client List. If ordered by Partner and then Client Identifier then it will firstly group the list by partner and then within each partner list then sort by client identifier.
The selection tab is similar to that of the main reports (especially in Time & Fees) but added options on this report allow specific types of clients to be reported on. For example Partnerships and Limited companies may need to be excluded from the report.
Period Ends dates for clients can also be searched on though this will be used more for searching within businesses. There is also a option for including Current jobs only. To make a job completed and no longer Current click here.
The same as normal reporting. Select the columns that needed for the report. The columns available in this report include Days since last status reached which will show how long since the last stage was completed. Another useful option is to have the Job Status selected. This will show the current stage of the client job that has been completed which is good for a quick reference.
This tab is used as an alternative to the selection tab. It will open the same screen as the Find Clients option. This will allow a specifically chosen group of clients needed for the report to look at. From more details on searching within the Find Clients click here.
