For further information please see the Workflow Report Tutorial or Workflow Report Help screen.
The following goes through details of how each Tab works on the workflow report.
From the options tab select the job needed for the report. This will then give, in the main white box, the details of that job's profile. By selecting the stages in here the information against that client (if entered) will then come up on the report.
Within the More options restrictions can be placed to report on clients reaching (or not reaching) a particular stage.
The Progress From and Progress To fields are a way of limiting the report. Enter a single stage, or a range of stages to limit the report. It works by reporting on any client job that has reached any of the stages in the range specified.
If, for example, a client has stage 7 completed and enter in the To field stage 5 then this client would not appear on the report, as the last stage reached is number 7 which is outside the range.
The turnaround between job stages option allows the first and the last job stage to so the turnaround for.
Finally on this tab the Days Elapsed again allows a limit the report. From the number entered in the box the report will not look at client stages completed before the number of days specified have elapsed.
Alternatively the Include Jobs where feature can be used, which allows a select range of stages and be able to search of whether the client has at least one or all of the stages completed. This can be switched around to look at stages that have not been completed as well.
This tabs defines in which order does the information come out on the report. If ordered by Client Identifier say then it will sort as per your basic Client List. If sorted by Partner and then Client Identifier then it will firstly group the list by partner and then within each partner list then sort by client identifier.
The selection tab is similar to that of the main reports (especially in Time & Fees) but added options on this report allow a limit on specific types of clients. For example clients that are Partnerships and Limited Companies may wish to be excluded from the report.
The Period Ends dates for clients can be searched on though this will be used more for searching within businesses. There is also an option for including Current jobs only. To make a job completed and no longer Current click here.
The same as normal reporting. Selected the columns that needed to appear on the report. The columns available in this report include Days since last status reached which will show how long since the last stage was completed. Another useful option is to have the Job Status selected. This will show the current stage of the client job that has been completed, which is good for a quick reference. Another option is Job stage notes, which displays the notes input for each job stage selected within the report. There is also Turnaround option which will display either the total turn around for jobs or the scheduled turn around.
This tab is used as an alternative to the selection tab. It will open the same screen as the Find Clients option (right-click on the Pm icon and choose Find Clients). This will allow a specifically chosen group of the clients to be reported on.
