Corporation tax payment reminders

This option provides a list of payment dates for limited companies within a time scale specified by the user. It is also possible to restrict the results to a particular client by entering the Client ID in the field provided.

Accessing the screen

This screen can be accessed from Business Tax or Practice Management.

Using the screen options

  1. First confirm the dates between which payment dates are to be checked. The standard is to search for payments due during the three months from today’s date. Amend this date range by typing alternative dates into the fields provided or by clicking the magnifying glass to access the IRISPTP calendar.

  2. Once the dates have been set click Find.

  3. The display lists all clients with corporation tax payments due within the specified date range.

The results can be sorted by any of the column headings on the display.

Each of the columns can be Configured to have the order required for this screen.

  1. Once the list has been generated, click Print to generate a report. The report uses the column order chosen by the user. Alternatively the information can be Exported to a CSV file.

Also it is possible to refine the searching criteria. This now allows a search for clients based on whether they have made payments or not or whether they have been notified. This can also be run for a specific client.

Notified and Paid dates

It is possible to assign details of when the client was notified that payment was due and also when the client has made this payment. To access and change/edit these details highlight the specific line and either double-left click or use the View button at the bottom of the screen.

The window headed Edit Corporation Tax Instalment will show the details of when the client was notified and when the client made the payment. To enter information into this field either click on Today or enter in a different date.
