Service Client Tab Quick Guide

The client service tab is found by going from the Pm icon and choosing client lookup. When viewing a client one of the PM tabs will be Services. From this the Job Planning screen to create and review the progress of these reports.

There are various services:

In the current version of the software there is a new tab on the client maintenance screen for job services. The job planner also uses the services, to know which services are being supplied for the client.

The Multiple Client select screen, allows a list of the clients the service is being provided for.

The installation of version II PM, will automatically set up client services where it can. For example; if the client is registered in Personal tax, and there is currently no personal tax service, one will be created.

Creating a new client service

View a client, with PM open, and go to the Client Service tab.

From here the details of all current services set up already and to create a new one:

  1. New.

  2. Select a job.

  3. Enter a start date for the service.

  4. Enter the recurrence details.

    If this is a standard system Job Type this information is defaulted. See below for more details.

  5. Also enter in Notes specific to this client if needed

  6. Click Add.

Now by using Job Planning services for a particular job can be seen to identify what stage the job is in or whether they have been created.

When a job is completed a prompt will appear asking whether the next job on the system is to be created.

Further recurrence details

If the job recurrence is set to 6 monthly say when the service is created it will allow changes to the specific recurrence to be made. This is because the default job recurrence is 6 monthly but for some clients this may be more of less.

If the job is a Standard System Job Type then the recurrence cannot be changed.

Terminating a Client Service

Terminating a client service will stop the automatic creation of jobs.

To Terminate a client service:

  1. Go to the Client Service Tab.

  2. Highlight and View the client service.

  3. From this screen enter in a Date Terminated.

  4. Click Update.

Deleting a Client Service

If a client service is created by mistake, then View the Client Service and then click Delete.

Export

The information can then be exported to a CSV file.

Other tabs on client browser

The extra tabs on the client browser (when PM are open) are Attributes, Service, Jobs, Tasks and Notes.
