Tax Reports   

A client must be selected before any option is chosen from the tax reports menu.

The following procedure applies to all but the Batch Print Returns:

1. Select a client and tax year.

2. Select the option from the menu, above. IRIS will run a computation and print any exception messages.

   There will be a short pause after selecting a report while IRIS performs a computation. This provides the results required to complete some of the boxes on the tax return and for the various printed computations (tax, trade, CGT). This computation will be kept 'in memory' so that if two or more reports are selected from the menu, the same computation data is used. This means that if any exception messages are generated, an exception report will be shown before the first selected report is printed but will not be redisplayed if a second or subsequent report is chosen.

3. The selected report is printed.

The option 'All computations' prints the Tax computation and also the trade, CGT and foreign tax credit computations as required.
