Q. IRIS
is producing an additional schedule of information along with the P11D
form, what is this for?

A. This schedule is generated automatically if for example the make/module
of a car is too long to fit into the relevant box on the form or theres
more than one benefit appearing in a particular box- the schedule will
show the details of each benefit.
Q. What
do the red crosses and blue ticks indicate?

A. A tick
indicates
that the person has been selected. When shown beside a category it means
all personnel in that category have been selected. A cross
indicates
that the person has not been selected. When shown beside a category it
means that none of the personnel in that category have been selected.
A crossed-through tick
indicates
that one or more but not all of the personnel in the category have been
selected
Q. The
clients car was unavailable for a period of time during the tax year how
is this restriction entered?

A. At present there is no facility to enter a number of days the
car was unavailable therefore a date acquired or relinquished must be
entered in order to restrict the number of days being used in the calculation
of the car and/or fuel benefit.
Q. The
client requires a P9D form as their earnings plus benefits total less
than £8,500?
(Click

A. From the Edit pull down menu select the option for P9D status.
at the prompt- do you wish to make the client a P9D client, click
Yes Iris will now automatically
produce a P9D form for this client
Q. The
benefits entered for a client are not appearing on the P9D?

A. Not all the benefits listed in IRIS are required to appear on
