The P11D module is available to Personal Tax users. It is possible to select employers (businesses) set up on the IRIS database and to prepare P11D forms for each employee and director. It is also possible to set up employees or directors who are not already on the IRIS database. These people will appear as P11D clients and will not, unless you choose otherwise, appear on the Personal tax client list.
Select a business. New businesses can be set up in the P11D module by clicking on the magnifying glass to the right of the client id and clicking the New button.
The left-hand side of the screen will list all the employees under one of four sub-headings:
Confidential (any confidential clients which can be accessed only with the appropriate password)
Directors (Directors with benefits entered)
Employees (Employees with benefits entered)
Employees/Directors with no P11d data (Directors or Employees registered but without any benefits entered).
Employment records can be linked with IRIS Payroll for Accountants to save having to re-enter any benefits that have already entered via the Payroll software. Any employment that has been linked to the Payroll software will show ‘(linked to IRIS Payroll for Accountants)’ next to the name of the employee.
