To access this report select Reports | Shareholding Report | All Clients or Current Client or Current Holding.
The Share Holding report, also known as the history report, provides a detailed analysis of shareholdings and their operative events. The report gives the full details of all movements since a shareholding was acquired:
The Share Holding report includes the following information:
Name/Description of the company
If jointly owned, the percentage of ownership.
Date of event
Type of event
Number of shares in the event
Cost of the event
Indexed cost of the event (not from 2009 onwards)
Current balance of shares
The report can be run for all clients, just the currently selected client or just the currently selected holding with the client.
For tax years prior to 2009 this report will only print the full history of a holding since its acquisition, it does not provide a snap shot of the tax year or period.
From 2009 onwards, the following options on the Share Holding report are available:
To show all events since the holding was created.
To show just the events of the current tax year selected.
To show all events for a specified period.
These options are available when the shareholding report is being printed for all clients, the current client or just the current shareholding.
