This screen only appears where a sensitive or restrictive word or expression has been included within the Business Name.
Where a sensitive or restrictive word or expression is identified as per Statutory Instrument 2009 No. 2615 and/or Companies House Guidance (GP1) Incorporation and Names you will be provided with a notification that supporting data may be required.

Some words or expressions require the approval of the Secretary of State. If you want to use any of them in your company or business name you will need to write to the relevant body to obtain their written support to use the name. A copy of the supporting letter should be sent with you application to form a company (or change its name) or in the case of a business name to obtain written approval to use the name.
Certain words or expressions are covered by other legislation and their use in company or business names might be a criminal offence. These can be found within Companies House Guidance (GP1).
These are not included within the Statutory Instrument 2009 No. 2615. If you want to use any of these words or expressions in your company name, then you should contact the relevant regulatory authority or ask us for advice before proceeding. Companies House may seek independent advice from the relevant body.

If Verify has been selected from the Adding Business Client screen, once the Sensitive or Restrictive Words or Expressions notification has been closed a tick will be entered within the Business name contains sensitive or restrictive words or expressions box.
Where the Sensitive or Restrictive Words or Expressions notification has appeared during the process of Electronic Incorporation within Company Formations, closing the screen will not prevent submission. If supporting data may be required (as above) the process should be terminated. Once the required supporting data is available re-select Reports | Incorporation Forms, tick Include Supporting Data and attach the appropriate document.
Once supporting data has been attached the notification will no longer appear.
