If any further amendments are made to Accounts Production then users must overwrite the data. This can be done through Trades followed by Partnerships and selecting Overwrite/Leave Alone. Users must then alter the radio button if they require to Overwrite the data. This radio button will automatically default to whichever one it is set to unless this is changed.
Business Tax looks at:
the trial balance in Accounts Production; and
the Posting and capital allowance information entered in Business Tax;
again and refreshes the following fields in the Partnerships option which contain data from those options.
Income and profit
Expenses and costs
Capital allowances summary
Tax adjustments to net profit and loss
Subcontractors in construction industry (if you have an account mapped to this category the amount will be entered. If you do not have an account mapped to this category any amount you have entered manually will be removed.)
Balance sheet summary screens
The split of profit between partners will be updated unless you have entered alternative amounts in Override return totals.
No other screens will be amended
Generally we would suggest keeping the radio button to Overwrite unless you are aware of a particular reason why you do not want the data altered.
Business Tax does not update the data. You would normally only select this option if you have manually altered figures in the screens listed above and do not want these changes overwritten.
