Job/Job Stage assignments

Introduction

This controls how staff members are allocated against the client jobs and job stages. The Due Date information can be seen and edited, if you have the required privileges. Assignments allow you to allocate when the work is to be completed by and who should be doing this.

 

The two main ways to access Assignments are from the Job Planning and on the client individually.

 

Client Maintenance

From the main client maintenance screen from the Jobs tab | highlight a Job and click View | click Assignment

 

Job Planning

  1. Open Practice Management.

  2. Click Launch.

  3. Click Job Planning.

  4. From the Job Planning screen once you have completed a search for the jobs, highlight the job you wish to assign a staff member to and click Job.

  5. From here you can click Assignments.

Within the Assignments screen you can view the details of who the job manager and/or assignee is, and detail a scheduled start/finish date for the job.

If the job profile, as set in System Maintenance, contains details of the Due Dates for the job stages, then these will be automatically applied to each stage job. If the job stages have a staff allocation, then these will to be assigned by clicking Allocate.

 

Allocate will then link the appropriate staff member to the stage. For staff members to see what stages are assigned to them they can use the Job Stages screen.

If you highlight a stage and click View, you will see the details of that specific job and who is assigned to it. You can change the due date assigned against that stage and the staff member.
