This screen enables a new client to be added to the IRIS database or an existing client registered for use within the selected product.
To access this screen, go o Client
| New
In Accounts Production, select the New
Client Quicklaunch Toolbar option Standard or Simple
In Time and Fees, go to File | Client | New. Alternatively, from within the Client Browser select New.
The available options for adding a new client vary depending on how the new client screen has been accessed, the following is a list of all those variations.
Select the appropriate link for more specialised assistance for each type:
Adding Business Client displays when selecting Client | New within products where business clients are selected within the toolbar.
New Person displays when selecting Client | New within products where people are selected within the toolbar.
New Trust displays when selecting Client
| New within products where trusts are selected within the
toolbar.
When in Time and Fees selecting File | Client | New or in the Client Browser have Whole practice selected within the Database View field and select New | Create a new client to be added to the IRIS database | Next an additional screen displays requesting the selection of the client type. Select from Business, Person or Trust and click Next. Requirements hereafter are the same as described in the respectively name links above.
