The DocAuthor filed in the trace, record’s the creator of the document. It is passed to IRIS Docs and OpenSpace alongside the document, using 3WI.
IRIS Document Management Configuration window is updated with new System account credentials in IRIS | System Maintenance | Utilities | Document Management link. These credentials are validated when the user clicks Next.
If these credentials are missing, then every 2 weeks, a reminder to add credentials will pop up when the user logs in IRIS practice suite.
When the document is uploaded from IRIS to IRIS docs and System
account credentials are present, then these credentials will be
used for displaying in IRIS Docs Creator filed. If there are no credentials
entered in IRIS Document Management Configuration window, then by default
it will show System Administrator Account.
Author filed in IRIS Docs will be updated with the logged in staff member for IRIS at the time of upload. In the trace file IRIS Docs meta data, 'DocAuthor' field in will be updated with the same that is, logged in staff member for IRIS at the time of upload.
When documents are uploaded from IRIS to OpenSpace the DocAuthor filed in trace file will be updated with the client visible id where a client user is signed in. If Document is uploaded from OpenSpace.
