Users who have IRIS Docs email manager within their products (in Pivotal) will used the IRIS Docs email assistant add-in. This allows users to manually send emails from outlook into IRIS Docs.
On the Add-in there are the following options:
Index - this will open the file and save window and allow the user(s) to manually choose the filing location and attributes to assign against the email, in order to file this into IRIS Docs.
My Intray - this will send the email into the in-tray of the user signed onto Windows
User Intray - this will send the email into the in-tray of another member of staff.
Group Intray - this will allow the user to specified a group in-tray. Members of the group will be able to access the email which is sent here.
Resolution: If all users receive this message when opening Outlook, follow the steps below:
Sign onto the server where IRIS Docs is installed.
Start | Run | Services.msc
Restart the INVU V6 ECM Service (if not started start this service).
Once completed ask users to close/reopen outlook for changes to take effect.
If Individual Users receive this error, follow the steps below:
Open Microsoft Outlook, click File | Options | Add-Ins | click Go... | highlight IRIS Outlook 2010 Email Assistant for IRIS Docs and click Remove.
Close Outlook.
Click Start | in search programs and files type %appdata% | double-click Invu If there is a file with a .iac file extension, delete this file.
Open control Panel | Programs & Features | uninstall IRIS email assistant.
Reopen IRIS Docs. Click OK to the pop-ups asking to install the email assistant.
Reopen Outlook.
