Metadata Reindex

Introduction

When searching users receive the following error:

'A Server error occurred: The template or info type filter cannot be used with this version of the index.  Reindex the metadata!'

To resolve this:

1. Open IRIS Docs as an Admin user.

2. Click Administration.

3. Expand Secure Storage.

4. Click Maintain Text indexes.

5. Select MetaData Reindex.

6. Click Reindex now.

7. Once complete click OK.

8. Users will be unable to carry out searches in IRIS Docs whilst this is running, it is usually advised to have users come out of IRIS Docs during this process.
   
   This process can take anything up to 30 minutes to run, although is usually quicker than this.
