Prior to an IRIS Docs Document Management Client installation, the following software needs to be installed:
Operating System 32 or 64 bit - Microsoft Windows 7 or above [Recommended]**
Microsoft Office 2010 (32 bit or 64bit) or above [Recommended]
Windows Installer 3.1
.NET Framework v4.0 Extended
Browse to the IRIS Docs installation share on the Docs server, for example, \\servername\IRIS Docs 6.12
Browse to Series 6 Client sub folder.
Run Setup.exe.
Click Next.
Click Finish when available. This will complete the installation.
When the user opens IRIS Docs for the first time it will prompt for the business. Enter the name of the server, which IRIS Docs is installed on.
