Below describes each option from the Help menu on the toolbar in more detail.
There are several options under this menu which are as follows:
Help within Company Secretarial can be found by going to Help | Help.
There are options at the top of the screen to browse through the Contents or the Index to find specific topics in the help screens. Each help topic can also be printed.
Alternatively, refer to Quick Guides, FAQ’s (Frequently Asked Questions) or Forms for a list with explanations of all the forms that are produced within the Company Secretarial product.
Help screens can be accessed in Company Secretarial by using the Help button from the main screen, selecting the question mark in the top right hand corner of any screen or by pressing F1 on any Company Secretarial screen.
Select Help | Tutorial to access the current updated Company Secretarial Tutorial which is broken down into easy to follow steps.
Tutorials exist within the on-screen help for:
using the share register,
using the forms and
customising the share certificates and dividend warrants.

Select Help | Web Site to access the support page for the Practice products suite.

Select Help | About to display
details about the Company Secretarial product and IRIS in general on the
following four tabs:
Select Help | About, and click on the Product tab. This screen shows the product information for Company Secretarial including the version number, who the product is licensed to, the customer reference number and the contact address for IRIS Software Ltd.
Select Help | About and click on the Details tab. This screen shows the details of directories and sessions.
Directories: Contains the details for where the IRIS programs, data, postings and formats are held for the database currently being accessed.
Session: Contains the details of the current user that is logged into the Company Secretarial product, including the ID, what access level they have and whether they are a super user or not. It also details the number of the session, the name of the computer that is logged in and, if applicable, the branch name.
Select Help | About, and click on the Licence tab. This screen shows the licence information for Company Secretarial including who the product is licensed to, , the customer reference number, the type of licence held, the expiry date and the number of screens and clients allowed on the system.
Select Help | About | Stats tab to show specific details for Company Secretarial including the Total Number of Clients etc on the database, Clients on database registered with Company Secretarial and Currently Selected Client is.
Select Help | About | Web tab. This screen allows easy access to the IRIS website at www.IRIS.co.uk.
The available options are:
Home - the main front page of the website.
Support - the customer support pages (Your specific customer reference is needed to log into this page).
Products - shows details of all the IRIS products.
News - up to date news about IRIS.
Training - about IRIS training.
Seminars - IRIS seminars.
Clicking any of these options will open up the appropriate page in a web browser.
Internet capabilities are needed to use these options. Click OK or Cancel to close out of this screen.
Version Info - this information may be required when contacting support.
Copyright Info - contains all necessary copyright notices relating to programs and text
Readme File - this option will open a PDF document containing details of new features that were included on the last main CD release, for all practice products.
OK - this option will close the screen and return to the main Company Secretarial screen.
