The Shortened/Extended date is picked up from the new date the period was changed to when entering in the extended/shortened date. The change can be viewed from Reports | Company Forms, select the form and click View.
To activate a completed form go to Client | View, select the Basic tab and click Periods. Highlight an already created period and click Change or create a new period end date by clicking Add. The new date should be entered and a tick should appear in the box for Enter extended/shortened period details for Company Secretarial.
