The registered company number and the company name in full should be entered followed by the date of the return.
The principal activities of the company should be entered in the boxes given. If a code cannot be determined, then there is space to give a brief description of the company, followed by the type of company should be entered by selecting the relevant tick box.
The registered office address needs to be entered. Then, if applicable,
the Single Alternative Inspection Location (SAIL) and subsequently the
location of the company records.
Part 2 of form AR01 is to include the details of all secretaries and directors.
Part 3 of form AR01 requires the name and full date of birth of all individual directors. The day of birth will not appear on the public record.
Part 4 of form AR01 requires details of share capital. The class and
amount of shares, amount paid/ unpaid, and the total nominal value of
any share capital in pound sterling and other currencies.
The details of both past and present shareholders should be entered
if the company has share capital.
Go to Client | View, select the History tab and click Log New. A log client history event screen appears, select Annual Return Date and then enter the date that this annual return is due. Click Log and it adds the item into the history screen.
Once the form has been activated, the completed form can be generated from Reports | Company Forms, highlight form AR01and click Print Form and OK.
To display a form with basic details, go to Reports | Forms with Basic Details. Select AR01- Annual Return and the form opens in Adobe PDF.
To display a blank form, go to Reports | Blank Forms | Form AR01- Annual Return. This opens the blank form in Adobe PDF.
