From 2021 onwards, the Partnership pages include multiple sections relating to the Coronavirus support payments.
The following entries can be made and will populate the Partnership tax return.
Selecting Trading and Professional
Income | Income Grant Claims
and entering an amount in this field will populate box
3.118 on the Partnership Tax Return with the same value. This value
will then be allocated between the Partners on the partnership statement
(box 12b)
Selecting Trading Professional Income | Income and Expenses | Income and Profits and selecting the check box 'Other income includes coronavirus support payments (not SEISS)' will result in box 10.4 being selected automatically on the Partnership Return. This box can be manually selected or deselected by selecting Trading and Professional Income | Other Information | Declaration and selecting the radio button titled 'All Coronavirus payments received have been included'.
Selecting 'Refresh to Personal Tax' will then refresh the partners share of the incorrect grant claims to the Partners in IRIS Personal Tax in (Reliefs | Miscellaneous | Incorrect Grant Claims)
If the 'Other income includes coronavirus support payments (not SEISS)' box has been selected this will be refreshed to IRIS Personal tax and will display a tick in Income | Trades, Professions, Vocation | Sole Trade or Partnership | select the appropriate Accounting period on the Trading income the field titled 'Other income includes coronavirus support payments (not SEISS)'.
