Aliases

$CP = $CI - (I for Indigo) will switch from the wording "Net profit" to "Excess of income over expenditure" on the sole trader / partners' current account.

 

ACR = ACI - Will switch the wording on the accountants' certificate (if on a separate page) to refer to the income and expenditure account rather than the financial statements.

 

IEA = IEP - Runs an income and expenditure account with two sections of income. Accounts 1 to 9 are listed under group 1 description and accounts 10/1-50 are listed under account 10 description. (Used when running PSI.)

 

How do I setup a report alias?

 

Alternative layouts - Partnership or sole trader accounts with no balance sheet

 

To run financial statements for a partnership or sole trader and omit the balance sheet set the following aliases and run report PSI.

 

FLI = FLY - Changes the wording on the fly sheet to refer to Financial Statements rather than Income and Expenditure Account.

 

IEA = TPL (or IEA = TP1 or IEA = TP2) - Generates a trading profit and loss account rather than an income and expenditure account.

 

ACI = ACR - Uses the wording financial statements rather than income and expenditure account on the accountants' report (if on a separate page).

 

How do I setup a report alias?

Aliases

BL3 = BL4 - Similar to the BL3 balance sheet, but the long term liabilities are displayed in the top half of the balance sheet

IAX = INB Will switch to net book value intangible fixed assets in columns

IAX = INS Will switch to net book value intangible fixed assets across the page

IVT = IVN Will switch to net book value investments in columns

IVT = IVS Will switch to net book value investment fixed assets across the page

FIX = FNS Will switch to net book value tangible fixed assets across the page

 FIX = FNB - Will switch to a net book value tangible fixed assets table.
