Scope of Audit of Financial Statements

This client screen is used for Charities.

It can be found in:

Edit | Data Screens | Auditors and Accountants | Auditors | Report of the Auditors  | Scope of Audit | Scope of Audit

This screen is only available for companies requiring an audit.

The scope of audit can be reported in one of three ways:

• Described within the report of the auditors
• By reference to the APB’s website (current website provided but can be changed if required)
• By reference to the report of directors

The text on the data screen in bold will be that displayed in the report. The required selection (A, W, R) is to be made in the relevant box.

If the scope of Audit is to be referenced to the report of the directors (selection R), the text boxes at the bottom of the screen become editable and anything entered will be displayed in the report of the directors.

Reports

Use this option to view or print any report without leaving this screen.

IRIS will return to the Scope of Audit data screen when you exit the report option.

To view the Qualified auditors report only enter AUD (Abbreviated, small- AUM, medium- AUE) in the Report/ Document field.

To view the Unqualified auditors report only enter AUX (Abbreviated, small- AUY, medium- AUZ) in the Report / Document field.
