Dividends - Interim and Final

This client screen is used for Limited Companies.

It can be found in:

Edit | Data Screens | Report of the Directors | Dividends | Interim and Final Dividends

• This screen will not be available if the Share register is being used.

• If the small company exemptions have been claimed this note will not appear, unless there is a tick in the second box to override the exemptions.

Values entered in the fields should be the value per share. The fields are text fields so '£' and 'p' characters can be used.

The dates should be completed using numeric keys only, if the interim dividends were single payments during the year.

If the interim dividends were multiple, please complete the screen Multiple Interim Dividends.

IRIS checks that what you have entered on this screen corresponds with the account numbers you have posted to.

For example if you have completed the field for Interim share type 1 please ensure the posting has been made to account:

• 471/1 if using the ELTD chart
• 454 if using the IRIS chart

Similarly if you have completed the field for Final share type 1 please ensure the posting has been made to account:

• 472/1 if using the ELTD chart
• 455 if using the IRIS chart

Reports

Use this option to view or print any report without leaving this screen.

IRIS will return to the Dividends - interim and final screen when you exit the report option.

To view the Directors report only enter DIR in the Report/Document field.
