Working Papers Links

From the main client menu it can be found in:

Edit | Working Papers Links

and

Setup | Accounts Charts | Amend | Working Papers Links

The Client Working Papers Links screen, integrates with the Working Papers Link tab within the interactive report.

It allows users to create links in the Financial Statement to documents stored external to IRIS Accounts Production.

From this screen users can set default worksheets and references to be used together with a specific chart, Accounting standard and Posting Entry.

Setting the default here will allow users to set all links at once, and to roll forward the same links and reference from one Posting Entry to another.

File Name

Browse in a spreadsheet template with named worksheets which are used to populate the drop down list available from the Worksheet field.

Posting Entry

You can select which posting entry you want to set the working papers links for.

Tabs

This area shows the accounts available under each format, the Group, Accounts, and Description columns will change dependant on which chart and accounting standard has been selected.

Worksheet

Once a spreadsheet has been browsed in to the file name field, the drop down list will be populated with the names of the worksheets available within that file.

This allows users to set which worksheet is to be linked to which line of the Financial Statement. Links do not have to be create for all records. If the same record appears in another tab it will automatically be set with the same link.

Reference

A five digit reference can be set from this screen, which will appear on the working papers link tab within the interactive report.

Other docs

A tick here indicates that there are documents attached to this record, and clicking on the magnifying glass opens a further screen which lists documents attached and allows you to add, delete and view them.

OK - saves any changes made and closes the screen.

Cancel - closes the screen, ignores any changes made, and reverts screen back to its last saved setting.
