The Time Ledger Clear Down utility is designed to allow historical data to be deleted from the time ledger. Click here to view the effects of the clear down, or here for the Fees Ledger clear down
The Time Period Clear down is a one way process. This will delete historical data kept on client accounts. Do not run this utility unless you are sure you want this to happen.
To run this facility the staff allowance Can clear down old Time & Fees Ledger periods must be enabled.
To run the clear down utility:
Enter the Time Ledger.
Click File.
Select Housekeeping.
Click Delete Old Periods.
The Time Ledger clear down screen displays.
To delete data enter the follow field:
The clear down utility works on year by year basis. Enter the year to delete, for example 1999.
To clear the data for the year all periods in the year must first be closed. Click here for the checklist for closing a Time Period, or here the help topic to close a period.
Click OK to delete time ledger data, or Cancel to close.
It is recommended that you view the details of running the clear down before running this utility.
