Staff Outstanding WIP report (Options)

The Staff Outstanding WIP report is a Time Ledger report that displays outstanding WIP balances, at staff level.

 

To access the Staff outstanding WIP report:

  1. Log into the Time Ledger.

  2. Click Reports.

  3. From the sub-menu select Staff reports

  4. Click Outstanding WIP.

The options screen allows you to define the system constraints to the staff outstanding WIP report. The following options are available:

WIP / cost valuation

By selecting as recorded on ledger WIP posting values will be calculated using all the charge rate that was original set for the posting. For example, if a staff member has 3 hours of unmatched postings for December at £20 per hour,and 2 hours in January at £50 per hour then the report will show a total of £160 unmatched.

 

To display the values of postings as at todays date (using the most current charge rate) then select Revalued as at todays date.

Level of detail

The Level of detail option relates to the first sort criteria that is selected under the Order tab. On the Outstanding WIP by staff report there are two options:

One line per time account

Each client that satisfies the Selection criteria will be displayed on a separate line on the report.

Include postings

A separate line for each posting will be displayed for  each client that satisfies the Selection criteria will be displayed on a separate line on the report.

Exclude Lines that are all zero

Place a tick next to exclude lines that are zero to exclude staff members with a zero outstanding WIP balance.
