The Fees Ledger Clear down utility is designed to allow historical data to be deleted from the Fees Ledger. For example, historical invoices and receipts. Click here to view the effects of the clear down, or here for the Time Ledger clear down.
The Fees Period clear down is a one way process. This will delete historical data that cannot be retrieved. Do not run this utility unless you are sure you want this to happen.
To run this utility the staff permission can clear down old time and fees periods must be selected.
To run the Fees Ledger Clear down:
Enter the Fees Ledger.
Click File.
Click Housekeeping.
Select Delete old periods.
The Fees Ledger Clear down screen displays.
To delete old data:
The clear down utility works on a year by year basis. Enter the year to delete, for example 1999.
To the data for the year, all periods in the year must first be closed. Click here for the topic for closing a fees period.
Click OK to delete Fees Ledger data, or Cancel to close.
