The nominal breakdown screen displays the nominal codes selected when making a posting.

Log into the Fees Ledger.
Click Enquiries.
Select Account details.
Type in the client identifier in the client ID field, or select using the magnifying glass.
Highlight a posting.
Click View.
The Fees posting screen displays. Click Nominal Codes.
The Nominal Postings Breakdown screen displays.
The following options are available:
Client - the client identifier and name are displayed for the selected posting. For example, A001 and Mr. Armitage.
Date - displayed is the posting date of the posting. For example, 01/05/2005.
Reference - displayed is the reference for the posting. For example, INV001 for an invoice.
Cross reference - displayed is the cross reference for the posting. For example, REC001 for a receipt.
The cross reference can be used to show a posting is linked to another posting. For example, Invoice INV001 is linked to REC001. If you match by cross reference, items can be matched using these references.
Individual Nominal Codes - within the individual nominal amounts section is a table showing how the nominal codes have been split for the posting. A total of sixteen nominal codes can be used per person.
The following columns are available:
Nominal Code - displayed is the nominal code selected for the posting.
These are taken from the practice default nominal codes, or entered manually on the posting.
Amount - displayed is the value entered against a nominal code, excluding VAT.
Ex - VAT total - displayed is the cumulative total ex-VAT, entered against the nominal code.
Click Close to exit.
