The template registry is where all Fees templates are stored and maintained. This wil include the standard templates that IRIS PTP issues, or bespoke templates setup by users.
To access the Template registry screen:
Log into Fees as MASTER.
From the menu, click Options.
From the sub-menu, select Documents.
The Fees Document Options screen displays.
Click Maintain Templates.
The Letter Template Maintenance screen displays.
In the left-hand pane of the screen the templates are organised into subfolders. This includes credit notes, invoice, payment reminders, proforma, credit note and VAT receipt. When a folder on the left is selected the right-hand pane of the screen shows the available templates.
The IRIS -supplied 'standard' templates are marked with a red s symbol over the template icon. The standard templates that IRIS PTP contains are examples, provided as a start point and to demonstrate how the package could be used.
New templates can be created by users to produce bespoke Fees documents. For example, to set a particular layout on an invoice and statement template.
Configure - use the Configure button to select the column headings to list the properties of the templates to be listed on the right hand side of the screen.
New Template - this will create a new Template. It will open the New Template dialogue box.

Properties - these are the properties that can be set for a template. To use this highlight the template and click Properties.

Edit - this will open the highlighted Template that has already been created by you and allow you to edit it. It will take you into Word.
A standard IRIS PTP Template cannot be edited.
Close - will exit the Template Registry to the main AutoMail menu.
