A batch is a container for grouping and maintaining fees postings. Each batch has expected and actual values.
To view or modify a fees batch totals:
Enter the Fees Ledger.
Click Posting.
Click Batches.
Highlight a batch and click Re-open.
Click Totals.
Displayed on screen is the Fees posting to period screen:
Batch Details - displayed on screen is a grid with actual, expected and To go figures split between debit and credit postings.
Debit figures include invoices, refunds and Misc debits, and credit figures include receipts, credit notes, write off and Misc credits.
Expected - displayed are the expected debit and credit values for the batch. For example, £300 credit, and £500 debit.
The expected figures were originally the anticipated figures entered when the batch was created. These can be modified at a later date by entering values within the DR and CR fields within the batch totals screen.

Actual - displayed is the value of the postings that have been entered into the batch. For example, £500 within the debit field could comprise of an invoices for £300 and £200
that have been entered within the batch.
To Go - calculates the value that must be posted before the expected total can be reached. For example, if the expected total is £1000 and the actual total posted is £700 then £300 must be posted before the expected total can be reached.
A batch can only be closed when the value of the actual column is equal to the expected total column.
Print Batch - to produce a list of postings entered within the selected batch click on Print Batch.
Click Update to confirm changes, or Cancel to close.
