Further information has been collected with regards to the Beaumonts' joint holding of British Gas shares. Firstly, some of the shares were sold and a gain realised and there was another dividend receipt. To record these details select Dividends followed by Capital Assets.
Click on the British Gas share holding then click the Events button above it then Click the Add button and enter the following:

Click OK to save these details, the disposal will now appear in the bottom half of the screen, click Close to close the Operative Events screen.
Click the Dividend button to access the Receipts’ summary.
To insert a dividend click on the British Gas share holding at the top of the screen then click Add and input the following details:

Click OK to save the receipt.
The Receipts’ summary now comprises of three receipts. To exit and return to the main capital assets screen click Close.
Click the red cross in the top right to close the capital assets module.
To alter Mrs Beaumont's record, select the Spouse radio button then follow the steps listed above.
