Reports MT1 and MT2 can be used to calculate the variance between two columns. In this example the actual figures for the second management period 1/7/07 to 31/12/07 are being compared to the second management 1/1/07 to 30/6/07 to give the variance.

Enter the entry numbers and periods for the first two columns.
Do not enter any information in the third column regarding the periods. Instead tick the Variance field. A panel asks you the variance you want to calculate.
Enter 1 and 2 and click OK.
The report is generated in the following format.
