Variances - Management reporting

Reports MT1 and MT2 can be used to calculate the variance between two columns. In this example the actual figures for the second management period 1/7/07 to 31/12/07 are being compared to the second management 1/1/07 to 30/6/07 to give the variance.

Column 1 :

period 2 to 31/12/2007

Column 2 :

budget 2 to 30/6/2007

Column 3 :

variance between columns 1 and 2

Enter the entry numbers and periods for the first two columns.

Do not enter any information in the third column regarding the periods. Instead tick the Variance field. A panel asks you the variance you want to calculate.

Enter 1 and 2 and click OK.

The report is generated in the following format.

1.7.07

to

31.12.07
